The Natural Aesthetics program is 20 weeks to 40 weeks long, depending on the schedule you choose and prepares you for the state license exams, as well as for success in the aesthetic industry.
Day Schedule
The schedule during the day for the first 8 weeks is Tuesday-Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm in the classroom. For the following weeks thereafter, class time is usually scheduled from 8:30 a, to 12:30 pm, with clinic time schedule in the afternoon, evenings or weekends, depending on the students schedule.
Night Schedule
The schedule for night classes is Tuesday-Thursday 6pm to 10pm for the first 12 weeks. The schedule after that is Tuesday and Wednesday from 6 pm to 10 pm for theory and academics. Night clinical hours may be done on Monday or Thursday nights from 5 pm to 9 pm or Saturday 9 am to 4 pm
Our goal is to prepare students to take the State Board Test. The aesthetics program is designed to prepare students for the state licensing examination and for entry-level employment in salons, spas or clinical offices.
Students are required to participate in both theory education and "hands-on" practical work on fellow students, models and clientele. All students prepare for the Arizona State Board examination. In order to prepare students for the State Board Exam, clinic floor students are tested against Arizona State Board requirements on a routine basis. These examinations are referred to as Mock Boards and are as similar to the actual exam as possible in order to prepare students to obtain a license in Arizona.
